GROUP CLASSES

Obedience group classes, based on the Good Citizen Dog Scheme Awards, for puppies and Adult Dogs in Chacombe, Northamptonshire/Oxfordshire border.

​

It is a place where you can meet new friends in a relaxed atmosphere and learn about how dogs learn, making the relationship between you and your dog stronger and more meaningful. Training should be fun for the dog with no use of intimidation or bullying. We use reward-based training methods which make training possible for all the family.

 

We want dogs to do things because they want to, not because they have to. By giving a dog time to assess a situation we allow them to develop their own skills rather than us telling them what they should do.

 

A trained dog is a happier dog living with a happier owner.

All dogs attending our classes must be fully vaccinated or titre tested. 

​

Course Dates in 2024

 

All classes are on Mondays

Puppy class: 6.00pm to 6.45pm

Silver Class: 7.00pm to 7.45pm

Gold Class: 8.00pm to 8.45pm

Bronze Class: 9.00pm to 9.55pm

  • no class on 1st April

  • no class on 6th May

  • June 3, 10, 17, 24  July 1, 8

  • July 15, 22, 29,  Aug 5, 12, 19

  • Aug 26  Sept 2, 9, 23, 30  Oct 7

  • no class 16th Sept

  • Oct 14, 21, 28  Nov 4, 11, 18

  • Nov 25,  Dec 2, 9, 16  Jan 2025  6, 13

  • no classes 23rd & 30th Dec

VERY IMPORTANT

Bitches in season are not to come to class nor should dogs showing any signs of illness. Please inform the instructor of any diagnosed contagious illness as soon as possible e.g. kennel cough.
